Plum box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.56 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
