Plain sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.11 per 10 ml.
A plain sub-ohm kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.11 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
