Plain squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Plain squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is plain legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.94 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
