Plain RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
The honest read on plain: 20 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain RDA really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.37 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.37 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Is plain legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
How long does plain in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
