Plain RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on plain: 14 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain RDA really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.11 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.11 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
