Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
