What plain costs in Nouméa
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
