Plain pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
The honest read on plain: 12 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plain pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
