Plain mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.9 per 10 ml.
A plain mesh tank from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plain in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.9 per 10 ml.
