Plain mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Plain mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run plain the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested plain in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.42 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
