Plain 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Plain 60 ml bottle here
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.72 per 10 ml.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plain in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plain: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.72 per 10 ml.
