Pear zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Pear in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
A pear zero-nicotine bottle from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.95 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.95 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.95 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
