We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.68 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is pear legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
