Pear squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Pear squonk mod here
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A pear squonk mod from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on pear: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.05 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.05 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
