What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.42 per 10 ml.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested pear in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.42 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
