Pear mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Pear mesh tank here
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.76 per 10 ml.
A pear mesh tank from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
