Pear mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Pear mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A pear mesh tank from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
