Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
A pear cartomizer from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on pear: 18 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
