Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
We run pear the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
A pear cartomizer from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
