Pear box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A pear box mod from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear box mod really costs in Nouméa
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.72 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.72 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
