Pear in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Pear box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.14 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
