Pear 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
The honest read on pear: 16 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.32 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does pear in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
