How we tested Nutty squonk mod here
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on nutty: 11 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested nutty in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Packaging for nutty in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.09 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
