Nutty prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A nutty prefilled pod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Nutty in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested nutty in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.72 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
