Nutty pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Nutty pen device here
If you are looking at nutty in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.26 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty pen device really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on nutty: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested nutty in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.26 per 10 ml.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
