Nutty box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Nutty box mod here
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.78 per 10 ml.
The short version: nutty in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on nutty: 24 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested nutty in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.78 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.78 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
How long does nutty in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
