Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.18 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: mintice in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice vape pen really costs in Nouméa
We run mintice the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.18 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
