We run mintice the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mintice in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice box mod really costs in Nouméa
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.51 per 10 ml.
How we tested mintice in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
