Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at mint in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A mint starter kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.24 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.24 per 10 ml.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
