Mint in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a squonk mod for mint
A mint squonk mod from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Mint squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.95 per 10 ml.
