Choosing a squonk mod for mint
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.53 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does mint in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
