Mint prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
The honest read on mint: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run mint the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.26 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
