Mint pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.62 per 10 ml.
The honest read on mint: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is mint legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
