Mint in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A mint pen device from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint pen device really costs in Nouméa
A mint pen device from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.52 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
