Mint mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for mint
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on mint: 24 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
