Mint 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for mint
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run mint the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Mint in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
