Melon vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.32 per 10 ml.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Melon in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested melon in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Nouméa survives.
