Melon squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Melon squonk mod here
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.18 per 10 ml.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
A melon squonk mod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.18 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
