Melon squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Melon squonk mod here
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.47 per 10 ml.
How we tested melon in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.47 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
