Melon mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for melon
The honest read on melon: 17 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested melon in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where melon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

In Nouméa we measured 2 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.78 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
