Melon 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
Melon in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested melon in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for melon in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
