Mango pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with mango in New Caledonia
We run mango the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mango in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mango goes wrong
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
