Mango pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mango habit
A mango pen device from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at mango in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: mango in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango pen device really costs in Nouméa
Mango in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mango in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mango goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.74 per 10 ml.
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.74 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should mango start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
