Lime starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Lime in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lime goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.58 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lime in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.58 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
