Lime RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Lime in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on lime: 22 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lime goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.39 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.39 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
