Lime pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Lime pod kit here
Lime pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Lime in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.31 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Nouméa survives.
