Licorice mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Licorice in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
The honest read on licorice: 12 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A licorice mesh tank from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: licorice in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Licorice in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
How long does licorice in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.11 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
