Licorice cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Licorice in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
The honest read on licorice: 15 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run licorice the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested licorice in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.1 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for licorice in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.1 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
