Lemon squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a squonk mod for lemon
Lemon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.97 per 10 ml.
The short version: lemon in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Lemon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.97 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is lemon legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How long does lemon in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
