Lemon pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What lemon costs in Nouméa
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Lemon in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
